Colby Session Overview for June 7-8, 2012
iConnectiLearn is a 'un'conference for the most unlikely conversations and connections to be made.
It is home of the keychains, a visual reference tool, for teachers to have on hand for inspiration and utilization. The keychains have been a viral connection between teachers, schools, districts and yes, across the state and nation. It is a portable reference tool to remind you and others that there is a network of assistance for you to grab and connect.
The boundaries for your classroom can be opened with the connectivity found in the iCiL community. Come and be a part of the community. The conference is designed with you in mind, you are the driving force behind what you will learn, share and take away from the experience. You have the opportunity to contribute, to ask questions and to sit with people who've been working in the classroom with technology. Others are willing to help you build lessons, ideas and projects that not only engage the learner but activate the learner to go further with their learning.
